Carrier Oils

This selection of oils are known as carrier oils which are not unpredictable and do not disappear by means of evaporation. Often referred to as aromatherapy carrier, base or vegetable oils, these are frequently used in aromatherapy blended oils, for food production, the manufacturing of toiletries and in industry in general.

Whether used for aromatherapy purposes, as a base oil for massage, or just as plain vegetable oils, these oils are usually of vegetable derivation, and have been extracted from nuts or seeds. The methods of extraction used are: cold pressed, expeller pressed, refined and unrefined.
